AimValley Introduces EX14 Transport NID

AMSTERDAM -- AimValley introduces the EX14: a new compact Carrier Class Network Interface Device.

The EX14 is a compact Carrier Class solution for Demarcation and Media Conversion at the network edge. Using small form pluggable (SFP) transceivers it supports a wide range of optical interfaces. A second electrical 1GE port, transparent for Synchronous Ethernet, reduces cost in Mobile Backhaul applications. Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) is fully supported to enable both on-site and remote checking of optical power levels. Its robust metal housing and dual power inputs emphasize the Telecom grade quality.
