10GTEK Product Warranty

10GTEK TRANSCEIVERS CO., LTD (hereinafter referred to as 10GTEK) ensures that the products listed in the following have gone through fully strict quality control from the purchase of raw materials to the whole manufacturing process. According to the following all sorts of situations and constraints, for the defective products being proved to be caused by poor raw materials or deficient manufacturing operation, 10GTEK will provide free repairs or replacement services. Maintenance services and replacement products will be achieved in an exchange manner. 

The warranty guarantees that consumers can get maintenance or replacement services only when they buy defective or damaged products from 10GTEK. For the data corruption and maintenance needs being caused by using other damaged devices in the system, and which make 10GTEK product can not work, 10GTEK will have no obligation to compensate and not take any responsibility.  


Warranty Period

The original customer purchasing 10GTEK products is covered under the Warranty Policy for the defined warranty period, starting from the date of original purchase. If no proof of purchase (receipt or invoice of purchase) can be presented upon request, 10GTEK cannot be held responsible for warranty service.

The Warranty Program does not cover following: 

The warranty clause does not include any product damage caused by improper installation, accident hazards, natural disasters, abuse, misuse, low power or over-voltage, incorrect operation, poor/ bad environmental conditions and any unauthorized dis-assembly, repair or modification.
The warranty clause does not apply to products with modified internal electronic information, EEPROM information, etc. without authorization.
The warranty clause does not include system problems caused by third-party software, upgraded software or upgraded IOS of the connecting devices.
This warranty is not applicable if the original product label is modified, scrawled or removed, or if the product is second-hand.
Unauthorized repairs to a 10GTEK product will void the warranty

Limitation of liability

10GTEK will only accept direct return of a product for replacement, under the stated warranty service after the original return timeframe of place of purchase has expired. For products purchased through resellers and distributors, please refer to the return policy of the merchant from whom it was initially purchased; any products eligible for return or replacement through the original merchant should be submitted through them.
In no event shall the liability of 10GTEK (or their officers, directors, employees or agents) for any damages (whether direct or indirect, special, punitive, incidental, consequential, or otherwise), loss of profits, loss of business, or any pecuniary loss, arising out of or related to the use of the product exceed the actual price paid for the product.

Return Policy

Thank you for purchasing from 10GTEK. All products have been thoroughly tested to be free of defects in material and workmanship. We are sure you will be happy with your purchase. If any product should malfunction while used in its recommended environment during the applicable warranty period under 10GTEK warranty policy, 10GTEK, at its option, will repair or replace the product at no charge.

Return for Repair

In the unlikely event of a wrong or defective or failed item that you want to ask for repair, immediately make note of the part number, serial number and description and proof of issue. Email or call your sales representative to submit part(s) and receive an RMA # and return instruction via email. Please provide return tracking No. within 7 working days after you receive the RMA instruction. Please let us know if there is a production link at stake, for we will often cross-ship to ensure minimal downtime. For customers who do not practice sparing, replacement product is usually in stock and ready to ship.
For RMA, you are responsible for the cost of returning the product to 10GTEK, while 10GTEK pays the cost of re-shipping a working product to you. 10GTEK reserves the right to repair or replace the product with a product of equivalent performance at their sole discretion at any time.

 
RMA is not acceptable if:

Products exceeds the warranty period.
Products don't accord with 10GTEK warranty policy.
No RMA agreement was reached with a 10GTEK sales representative before return.
Return is not done based on 10GTEK RMA instructions.


DOA

In the unlikely event of product dead on arrival (DOA) that you want to return for refund or repair, immediately make note of the part number, serial number and description and proof of issue. Email or call your sales representative to submit part(s) and receive an RMA # and return instruction via email. DOA must be reported within 15 days of delivery. After 15 days, refund is not available any more and you will only be eligible for repair if product is still under warranty. Return tracking No. must be provided within 7 working days after you receive the RMA# in order to get a full refund. All reasonable costs and expenses incurred by the return will be deducted from the refund. If returned products are found free of defects, you may incur reasonable inspection charges at the discretion of 10Gtek.


Return Part Package

You must adequately package any product you are returning to ensure that it is not damaged during return delivery to our warehouse. All original items including packaging must also be returned. You may choose to return the product by your own means or we will arrange for any products you want returned to be collected, at your cost.
If you are entitled to a refund, we will only give you the refund once we have received the product at our warehouse and inspected it and assessed whether it is eligible for a refund. Any refund we make will be by the same payment method used to purchase the product.
