TE 25G AOC Technology Awards again
TE Connectivity today announced that its light engine technology based Coolbit 25G AOC products have won R & D Magazine published by R & D 100 Award. The award was founded in 1959, for the selection of innovative products worldwide. R & D Magazine's readers are mainly scientists around the globe, engineers and technical staff.
TE-based Coolbit light engine technology supports up to 25G AOC 400G transmission capacity per port, with ultra-low power consumption. Its power consumption is less than 1.5 QSFP28 optical module watts power consumption compared to existing solutions can be reduced by more than 60%.
TE Data and device business represented CTO Phil Gilchrist, Coolbit light engine is used in the data center power consumption and thermal performance management, innovative products.
